Distinctly feminine jewelry, hand-made by a former queen who is hopelessly attached to puffing-out dresses, anything that sparkles and fairy tale endings.

Pippi Longstocking
Named for the precocious Swedish (try saying that three times in a row) girl with fiery red hair and lots of freckles! I boast some Swedish heritage, so making Pippi a namesake was a natural choice. The spots on these glass beads looked liked Pippi's freckles, while the colors reminded me of her hair, eyes and patchwork dress. The line of Pippi jewelry is made for younger girls, with bracelets measuring 6.5" and post earrings measuring .63". The bracelets are made with Swarovski crystal, muted glass beads and bali silver. They clasp with a solid sterling silver toggle and are strung on 49-strand Beadalon wire. Available in red, orange, green and blue/green swirl. $10 for the earrings, $20 for the bracelets.

Razelle
Named after the good sorceress in the movie 80's Willow...an oldie but a goodie (also the movie that inspired my school girl crush on Val Kilmer). Her hair is long and white and she wears a gray robe, so naturally I thought of her after finishing this bracelet and matching earrings. Made with botswana agate, smoky quartz, bali silver and sterling silver. $35 for the bracelet, $20 for the earrings.

Xiao Mei
Named for the character in House of Flying Daggers, played by Zhang Ziyi. This movie has some great flying-through-bamboo scenes, similar to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (which also features Zhang Ziyi). These earrings are made with roughly faceted nuggets of bamboo jasper with stunning variations of colors and veining. Hues include white, salmon, grey, black and tan. The solid sterling silver wire is hand-wrapped, making each pair unique. $30.

Goldilocks - Porridge
For all of you who just made a nasty face after reading the name of this earring, I want you to know that I ate porridge (oatmeal) every morning for breakfast all growing up...it's not that bad! Of course I hated it at the time, but now I actually quite enjoy it. I digress. The third installment of the original Goldilocks design represents the contents of the bowls our protagonist tried to consume. These, too, are made with carnelian, albeit a different shade, and sterling silver. Hand-made twisted jump ring. $25.
Goldilocks - The 3 Bears
Goldilocks
Ah, yes - a bedtime story classic. The yellow carnelian donuts on these earrings mimic the golden locks of her hair, while the number of donuts on each earrings foreshadows her encounter in the cottage and its inhabitants. Made with carnelian and solid sterling silver. Twisted jump ring is hand-made. $25.
Princess Di
She was a classic beauty and was often seen in her pearl choker. Made with Swarovski pearls, sterling silver/Swarovski crystal rondelle and sterling silver findings. $20.

Sibyll
As in Sibyll Trelawney, Professor of Divination at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! If you've seen the movies, you can attest that she has large, googly eyes blinking from behind coke-bottle glasses. Made with lemon jasper or chocolate moss agate. The sterling silver rings are hammered by hand. Solid sterling silver findings. $25.
